After getting a DSLR camera for Christmas and being so excited about it, I quickly realized that I knew absolutely nothing about how to work it. I had this vision in my head that if you get a nice camera you will automatically be able to take nice pictures. I was particularly interested in this so that I could upgrade from iPhone pictures to higher quality photos that I could come to cherish down the road. This idea quickly crumbled after I realized that you clicking away won't result in much. I decided to enroll in a photography class and learn the basics. Check out the interesting techniques we learned in class three tonight! Stay tuned for more quality photos coming your way.
Now, I am by no means a professional.. but this does look pretty cool if I do say so myself. So excited to learn more tricks and techniques. Warmer weather couldn't be more welcome now that I have a camera to see the city through. I am constantly day dreaming of heat and the sun and vitamin D and can't wait to take this bad boy out for a spin through Central Park!
Love these photos. What kind of camera do you have? What are you going to do in the photography class?
ReplyDeleteMy parents gave me a Pentax DSLR camera for Christmas! We have learned so much in my photography class. I initially wanted to take it so that I could learn how to use my camera properly and take advantage of all of its features. I have learned so much more than I thought I would! I will show you some tips when I see you next :)
